Nest ("the app") is a private photo-sharing app for families. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Nest you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Account information: when you create an account we store your name and email address. Content: photos, albums, comments, and reactions you post are stored so they can be shared with your family circle. Invite codes: we store the codes used to join your circle so membership stays limited to the people you invite. We do not collect your contacts, location history, or advertising identifiers.
How we use information
We use your information only to operate the app: showing your photos to your circle, delivering comments and reactions, and managing invitations. We do not sell your data, show advertising, or share your content with third parties for their own purposes.
Who can see your photos
Your photos and albums are visible only to members of your private family circle. Membership is controlled by invite codes that you share. There are no public profiles, feeds, or search.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on secure servers and transmitted over encrypted connections. We apply industry-standard measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete individual photos, comments, and albums at any time. If you delete your account, your personal information and content are removed from our active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records by law.
Children
Nest is designed for families, but accounts must be created by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect.
